Then come join our team!We are seeking a motivated individual who can efficiently manage and lead the Rail Logistics Department to ensure that equipment is available, dependable and comply with safety policies. At Landus Cooperative, you'll find a fun team atmosphere and a stable career that offers excellent benefits for full-time employees!Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Includes but not limited to the following:Work closely with Chief Commodity Marketing Officer to determine business needs and appropriate railcar sizeProcurement of railcar leases and rail freight to support business needsRating, routing and billing of railcars to ensure compliance with customers contract termsDevelop comprehensive rail rate data base for agronomy, grain and soy meal shipmentsProcure and direct freight services for export shipmentsEstablish and maintain close working relationships with each business unit to provide the support for efficient and profitable operationsDevelop comprehensive rail equipment data base to cover all leased assetsMaintain records involving rail fleet logistics costs, rail fleet sizing and monitoring performance ensure optimal utilizationRequirementsRequired Qualifications:Must have a valid state motor vehicle license.Preferred Qualifications:Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or five years of related dispatching experience.Good computer skills.Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.Equal Opportunity Employer/Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled#J-18808-Ljbffr
