Overview Reporting to the Vice President of Finance Operations, the Senior Project Manager, Revenue Cycle's primary responsibilities are to support revenue cycle management project implementations and process improvement initiatives by providing oversight of large, complex projects, impacting cross functional departments, throughout the project lifecycle. Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of multiple simultaneous projects ensuring consistency with Carle Health Revenue Cycle Management strategies, commitment and goals, while initiating change to adopt industry leading standards. Qualifications EDUCATION REQUIREMENT Bachelor's Degree, Business or related field CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or Lean Healthcare Management Certification, Black Belt in Six Sigma EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 5 years healthcare project management, process improvement and/or leadership. SKILLS and KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS Independence, responsibility, accountability and good judgement. Ability to work in a highly complex environment Ability to navigate difficult conversations with diverse groups Ability to initiate, plan, execute, monitor/control, and close projects Develop and implement metrics to measure project success. Responsibilities Lead, develop and independently manage project objectives, governance, plans Provides communications to requiring cross functional coordination. Drive and ensure successful delivery of multiple projects while setting project controls and standards. Drive analytics and report development efforts and own the day-to-day detailed aspects of assigned projects Ensure successful completion of projects. Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks and resource requirements Resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas Develop methods to monitor project or area progress. Partner with internal technical resources as needed to ensure project goals are met. Ability to engage multidisciplinary stakeholders that frequently hold disparate goals Aligns teams on implementation of best practices and industry leading techniques Drives Revenue Cycle improvements for the benefit of Carle Health Communicate clear expectations with stakeholders, executives, sponsors and team members Continually managing expectations through the life of projects. Develop and maintain project documentation, communicate project objectives and progress Develop deeper level business and functional requirements to support business and technology projects Provide project status reports throughout the project lifecycle. Identify and resolve issues while managing dependencies Ensure timely execution of project milestones. Ensure on-time delivery of projects according to agreed upon scope. Develop and execute mitigation strategies when off-track. Support development of presentation and communication materials tied to projects, programs and general RCM performance. Define key metrics, status and corrective actions for various audiences.
