Basic Function and Responsibilities:

The Manager of Scholarships and Donor Stewardship is responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing a comprehensive donor stewardship program that aligns students who receive scholarships from private sources to the persons and organizations that fund scholarships ensuring the donor's intent is being met. This person will advise on strategy for and lead execution of annual stewardship efforts including scholarship on-boarding events, donor recognition societies, the annual stewardship report, and the annual Donor Appreciation Brunch.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:

* Manage the Foundation's scholarship program, including determining overarching parameters, working with committees.

* Communicate and collaborate with the Office of Student Financial Assistance to ensure accurate and timely awarding based on donor criteria and financial aid policies. and to receive Request relevant data and awardee information for fund allocation and donor stewardship.

* Create and execute strategies and programming to engage scholarship students with the work of the Foundation and with scholarship donors. Build meaningful relationships with students, helping them understand the origin of their scholarships and the mutual benefits of donor stewardship.

* Carryout stewardship plan for donor recognition, including timely outreach, mailings, calls and events related to acknowledgement beyond the expected tax letter. Engage Foundation staff, board, College leadership, and students in execution as appropriate.

* Utilize data analytics and reporting tools to track and evaluate the effectiveness of stewardship efforts, monitoring key performance metrics, analyzing trends, and making data-driven recommendations for optimization.

* Proactively supports the stewardship activities of front-line fundraisers by assisting them in establishing and coordinating individualized stewardship plans to donors in their portfolios.

* Manage membership roster, recognition and benefit implementation for giving societies.

* Oversee the creation of annual stewardship reports in collaboration with the Foundation team.

* Handle confidential information for donor and student records with tact, discretion and in compliance with FERPA regulations.

* Participate in cross training activities with the Enrollment Center and Office of Student Financial Assistance.

* Maintain accurate records of donor contact information, engagement activities, and communications preferences using the Educational Foundation's database or CRM system.

* In partnership with the Senior Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations, serve as the staff partner for the Programs Committee of the Educational Foundation Board of Directors.

* Attend Foundation Quarterly Meetings, identified committee meetings, and special events.

* Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Working Conditions:

* A Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, Philanthropy, or related required or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

* Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated success in volunteer management, donor stewardship, financial aid and/or annual giving, preferably in a higher education or nonprofit setting.

* Ability to think strategically about donor engagement to generate creative solutions for stewarding donors. Capacity to respond with insight, tact, and sensitivity to donors' concerns.

* Extensive writing, copy editing, and proofreading experience. Ability to research and interpret financial information across multiple data platforms.

* Strong project management skills. Ability to work independently and creatively on complex projects, to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and to maintain the highest standards of output, of business practices, of good judgment, and of discretion.

* A high level of interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to deliver services in a fast-paced and customer-service focused environment is required. A proven track record of meeting achieving goals and deliverables required.

* Advanced word processing, intermediate spreadsheet application, and beginning presentation application skills required. Experience with utilizing Google suite of applications and Adobe Pro.

* Proficiency in data analysis and database management, with experience using fundraising software and CRM systems (e.g., Raiser's Edge, Academic Works, Banner, Salesforce). Ability to access, analyze, and report on data.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.

* Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed and travel between campuses and to off campus events.

Physical Demands:

Light lifting up to 10 lbs. and light carrying up to 10 lbs. Ability to reach above shoulder. Periods of time spent sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, bending and stooping. Mobility to move from building to building on-Campus and to visit off-Campus entities. Work is performed in a general office environment and is sedentary in nature. Little or no exposure to adverse working conditions

Additional Information:

Based on the needs of the college and with Administrator approval, some positions at the college may have hybrid schedule options available after 30 working days.

HOURS: Monday - Friday 8:15 am - 5:00 pm -Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed and travel between campuses and to off campus events.

SALARY: $65,317
