Position Specific Description

You'll oversee multiple agile teams comprising the Sales Platform team. You'll lead the team through overhauling our flagship sales workflow product by balancing out delivering value to our sales and installation partners, and setting us up for success in going direct to consumer.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Strategic Product Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling long-term vision for Everbright's tech stack that aligns with the company's strategic goals.
  • Product Roadmap: Oversee creation of the product roadmaps across teams, ensuring we drive value to our partners and advance toward our D2C vision.
  • Cross-functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, finance, sales, and marketing, to ensure cohesive product development and alignment with business objectives.
  • Product Innovation: Champion innovation by implementing modern product discovery and delivery methods, and encourage creative thinking within the product management team.
  • Product Strategy Alignment: Collaborate with other Product Management team members to ensure alignment of goals, optimize resource allocation, and enhance the overall effectiveness of the Product Management organization.
  • Agile Leadership: Oversee multiple agile teams, providing guidance and leadership to ensure efficient and effective product development.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 8+ years in Product Management.
  • Demonstrated ability to learn multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, finance, sales, or marketing.
  • Proven ability to engage with engineers, designers, and stakeholders in a constructive and collaborative relationship.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product discovery and product delivery.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, across all levels of the organization.
  • Passion for clean energy and sustainability.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agile Team Oversight: Experience overseeing multiple agile teams, demonstrating the ability to manage and prioritize concurrent product development efforts effectively.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the cleantech space, specifically residential solar.

Job Overview

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Write clear and concise product briefs, epics, stories, and tasks that provide detailed requirements for the development and QA teams with no supervision (or proven track record to mentor others).
  • Own and/or oversee research and product discovery across internal business units and external parties and document requirements.
  • Oversee vendor and 3rd party integrations.
  • Subject matter expert of the competitor landscape, market trends, and customer/partner needs as it pertains to a specific domain.
  • Demonstrate ability to define product vision, and execute product strategy.
  • Demonstrate ability to support and influence discussions at the executive level.
  • Manage and mentor a subset of the product team, specific to a domain.
  • Recognize individuals for talent and performance, and promote the shared success of the team.
  • Manage team growth: work with HR on candidate profiles, vet PM candidates, conduct interviews, collect interview feedback, and make hiring decisions.
  • Execute core people management duties: schedule and attend weekly 1:1s, provide regular performance feedback, conduct performance reviews, set HR goals & objectives, and support direct report development by allocating and approving training and other career growth opportunities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
