Position Title: Manager of Workforce Operations and Logistics

Position Summary:
The Manager of Workforce Operations and Logistics reports directly to the CEO of the Chicago Campus and collaborates closely with the Executive Director of Academics and Chicago Campus staff to oversee and coordinate the logistical components of workforce development initiatives. This role is instrumental in managing data during the new program launch process and preparing reports to evaluate program viability and sustainability. Additionally, the Manager of Workforce Operations and Logistics provides essential logistical support throughout the student learners' academic journey, ensuring a seamless and coordinated experience as they pursue certificate completion, certification, and/or transition to traditional credit-bearing programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works collaboratively supporting the design of professional development programs and stand-alone certificates for the Chicago Campus under the supervision of the CEO, with the guidance and input of Exec. Dir. Academic Affairs, and in collaboration with the Manager of Collaborative Organizational Partnerships.
- Coordinates communication with students through the application, admission, post-matriculation, registration, and orientation process to the completion of certificates.
- Serve as liaison to students, appropriately addressing inquiries, complaints, adjustments, and reimbursements.
- Oversee operations and delivery of student success services related to admissions, assessment, placement testing, post-testing, registration, and matriculation to credit programs.
- Supports the coordination of any tutoring and academic support provided for students within the workforce program offerings.
- Works with local Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) partners to ensure compliance and coordination with the entire process.
- Responsible for preparing and up-keeping departmental budget and all related grants and funding sources.
- Support the CEO and Ex. Dir. of Academic Affairs in the creation of proforma drafts through the new program launch process.
Data and Operations:
- Conducts program analysis through the use of Hanover consulting and EMSI analyst tools to support program viability in the new program launch process.
- Maintains and implements workflow for a credit/non-credit course workforce training program.
- Monitors cohort schedules and class enrollments; coordinates logical day-to-day maintenance of certificates and program offerings with the guidance of the Executive Director of Academic Affairs.
- Ensures compliance with all workforce program-related recordkeeping and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in operations management or a similar role.
- Experience working directly with high-level executives.
- Knowledge of standard project management software tools.
- Comprehensive understanding of grant processes, including identifying funding opportunities, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and preparing accurate and timely reports.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to spend long durations of the workday sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Salary and FLSA Status:
- FLSA Status: Exempt, full-time.
- SALARY: $65,000 - $70,000.
