Ops Performance and Development ManagerThe selected candidate for this role will be responsible for process improvements and scheduling in FreshDirect's Operations* Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality.* Develop andimplement strategies for operations and transport planning to optimize resource utilization and ensure timely delivery of goods.* Oversee capacity management efforts to effectively manage resources and meet customer demand while minimizing waste and inefficiencies.* Utilize SAP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to streamline processes and improve operational performance.* Conduct data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement within operations and transportation.* Define and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals.* Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.* Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and execute strategic development projects aimed at enhancing operational capabilities and driving growth.* Develop and deliver training programs to build the capabilities of team members and empower them to contribute to operational excellence.* Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in operations management and continuous improvement.Minimum Qualifications:* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field* 4+ years' experience in operations, logistics, warehousing or manufacturing* 3+ years' experience in data analysis and SQL* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.* Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance.* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.* Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage timelines, and drive results in a fast-paced environment.Preferred Qualifications:* Master's degree in industrial engineering or related field* Experience working in a union environment* Experience working with an automated system.* Hands on experience with WMS and SAPBenefits:* Competitive salary.* Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.* 401(k) plan with company match.* 15 paid time off* 20% off at freshdirect.com and significant markdowns at our employee market* 24-hour access to the FreshDirect shuttle between our Bronx headquarters and the subway* Regular events and barbecues for employees* Opportunities for professional growth and development in a fast-paced, innovative environment.How to Apply: Interested candidates should submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their relevant experience and achievements to FreshDirect Careers.
