Manager Performance Excellence

Quality Improvement Rock Island, IL

Full Time - 1.0 FTE

Day Shift M-F 8a-4:30pm

The Manager Performance Excellence maintains oversight of and provides leadership for the overall Culture of the Continuous Improvement program and supports the organization in creating a patient experience that aligns with the organization's mission and vision.

Responsibilities:
  • This role requires collaboration with all areas of the organization, focusing on a culture of continuous improvement, empowering and engaging all team members to identify and solve problems, and showing our patients how much they matter to this world. This role also requires the manager to lead and manage the department and be responsible for house-wide education and training to help fulfill the needs of our patients and team members on our journey to high reliability.
  • oversees and provides leadership for the overall clinical quality program within the organization. This includes oversight of clinical quality data, scorecards, service line reports, and pay-for-performance programs in collaboration with the Clinical Quality Advisor. The role also maintains oversight and leadership for core measures, including data abstraction, submission, and sharing related to core measures and other publicly reported metrics.
Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in nursing, health administration, industrial engineering, or another related field.

Experience:

  • Three years of experience in process improvement

  • Three years experience in health care or safety-related role

  • Experience supervising and leading employees.

  • Familiar with basic concepts related to patient safety, process improvement, and high reliability

Licensure/Certification:

  • Three years of experience in process improvement
  • Three years experience in health care or safety-related role
  • Experience supervising and leading employees.
