POSITION: Manager, Plant EngineeringJOB DESCRIPTION: Manage and coordinate Facilities Engineering activities to minimize hospital disruptions; provide technical engineering expertise and oversee all building systems related to the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of Wayne UNC Health Care central energy plant, utility systems, Life Safety systems, leased/owned/managed real estate, and rounds maintenance. Serve as technical lead for the Building Automation System (BAS), fire alarm system and Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). In conjunction with Plant Engineering Director, serve as technical engineering resource for safe operation, maintenance, repair, and replacement of industrial electrical mechanical, plumbing, vertical/horizontal transport, access control, and other facility systems and equipment; and optimize utilities consumption. Oversee testing, inspections, and maintenance of building; support Plant Engineering Director in developing capital improvement priorities and budget projections for physical plant and infrastructure repairs, maintenance, upgrades, and new construction projects. Interview and hire candidates, including evaluating and mentoring team members; address/resolve issues, including administer disciplinary/ corrective action as needed.REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Engineering or Facilities Management. 6 months experience in managing plant operations systems and controls; building automation systems; and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems. JOB SITE: Goldsboro, NC; 40 hours/week, M-F.
