Job Description

X-energy, LLC is seeking experienced professionals to join our Operations and Maintenance team in the role of Manager, Plant Maintenance. This role is responsible for the technical management of the complete engineering effort to define, develop, and implement an Integrated Logistic Support System (ILSS) for plants. Included in the ILSS are all Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) considerations to ensure the plant will maintain its performance capability over its full design life.

Job Profile Tasks/Responsibilities

* Define, develop, and manage plant-level systems engineering for the RAM program and an ILSS for the plant.

* Ensure the proper integration of maintenance into each plant system.

* Identification and management of all internal and external interfaces.

* Ensure that the plant can be maintained with optimum efficiency to maintain high levels of reliability with low overall maintenance costs.

* Oversee development of systems to perform maintenance or monitoring that can be done by robots or sensors.

* Accountable for flow down overall plant Nuclear Safety Philosophy to the plant Maintenance Program.

* Support the classification of plant equipment for developing an asset management strategy.

* Develop a Reliability, Integrity Management (RIM) implementation strategy for the plants. This program must use reliability targets, associated reliability allocation, and RIM strategies as part of implementation of ASME Section XI, Div. 2 based on a risk informed and performance-based approach.

* Identify technical risks and to develop, implement and manage appropriate risk mitigation strategies in a timely manner.

* Support the Engineering and/or Program Manager in ensuring that client requirements and expectations have been met.

* Maintain professional demeanor and behavior at all times in all forms of communication.

* Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Profile Minimum Qualifications

* B.S. in Engineering or similar technical field.

* Ten plus years of experience and/or exposure to systems at an operational nuclear facility or at least 15 years of experience at a large, industrial facility is required.

* Ten plus years of experience working with a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment to produce a complex end-product.

* Experience with technical contract management is required (specification, bid, review, recommendation/award, submittal review, change management, contract closeout).

Location: 530 Gaither Road, Rockville, MD.

Work Site Expectations: On-Site

Travel: 10%

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm, Mon-Fri

Compensation

As required by Maryland and other applicable state law, X Energy, LLC (X-energy) lists the expected compensation range for a publicly advertised job opportunity based upon the job requirements (e.g. education/training, experience, skill sets, etc.). Individual candidates who meet the job requirements for the posted position will be offered a salary within this range based on their respective levels of education/training, experience, and other qualifications unique to them. Salary ranges may vary based on the specific office location and region referenced in the posting to take into consideration differences in cost of living and may not be reflective of all regions. Please note that compensation ranges listed for US job postings reflect base salary only and do not include benefits or other incentives.

A reasonable estimate for this position at the level of experience required is:

$180,000 to $227,700
