Job Responsibilities You will be responsible for the overall performance of TMD (Turbomachinery Design & Manufacturing) Procurement, including strategic and operative purchasing and supply chain (Expediting, Logistics).Serve as the local process owner for TMD procurement processes.Ensure sourcing and buying at minimum Total Costs of Ownership and develop and ensure adherence to TMD procurement strategies.Provide advice to TMD Leadership in Procurement matters such as cost, market trends, and execution feedback.Build, maintain, and develop procurement competence utilizing up-to-date methods and market knowledge.Provide challenging assignments, set clear objectives for the team, measure their performance, and lead the team to ensure effective collaboration, coordination, and decision processes among all stakeholders.Implement cost reduction potentials, develop new procurement strategies, and manage BCC (best cost country) sourcing and supplier development, striving for competitive solutions for proposals and projects.Drive continuous improvement of processes, systems, and tools for the responsibility area in collaboration with the Global Procurement team.Act as the management interface to other Global Procurement Centers.Ensure compliance with Safety, Quality, and legal requirements in TMD Procurement, ensuring trainings and lessons learned.What Makes You Great You have a Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related fields.You have a minimum of five (5) years of related work experience (Supply Chain, Procurement).You like to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, self-directed environment.You have the ability to lead and manage personnel and have strong negotiation and analytical skills.You have effective communication skills both verbally and in writing with leadership teams, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the organization.Hands-on experience in Procurement/Purchasing is appreciated.You have the possibility to travel up to 10%.Why You Will Love Working With Us The position owner will be responsible for leading and developing TMD's Procurement organization with four direct reports in a growth business.
