GEICO is looking for an accomplished, customer obsessed and results oriented Product Manager to join GEICO's Commercial Lines Delivery team. As a Product Manager, you will partner with our Insurance Product Managers and development teams to translate the product vision and user experience into delivery objectives, provide customer-informed guidance to shape products, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver well-managed and sustainable features that bring that vision to life.

About This Role

In this role, you will represent the voice of stakeholders and are responsible for maximizing the value of our products and solutions by aligning the team's technical direction, strategy, prioritization, design, development, and readiness to enable our business partners goals and deliver on their strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate must have a proven record of successfully driving results, facilitating conflict resolution and tradeoff discussions, and demonstrating strong leadership skills.

This position is a hybrid role and required to be on-site 2 days per week at one of GEICO's office locations. (Includes GEICO locations listed and not listed)

Job Responsibilities

* Understand industry landscape, market trends, customer and business need to synthesize discovery efforts into insights and implications to features.

* Leverage insights to drive vision for product features that will drive incremental value and rally stakeholders to your vision.

* Have an end-to-end understanding of features and how they fit into the larger ecosystem to be able to anticipate impacts from changes in other parts of the business.

* Work closely with tech leadership and architecture to understand the tradeoffs of technical decisions and how they impact the customer experience.

* Rally teams and senior stakeholders to your product direction and proactively leverage relationships throughout the ecosystem.

* Reports on feature performance to stakeholders demonstrating incremental value creation.

* Encourages adaptability informed by emerging solutions, industry trends and changing customer needs.

* Defines scalable product solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external customers habits and technical systems.

* Understands technology concepts and how underlying product services perform across channels and customer touchpoints.

* Fosters a strong agile discipline and inspires teams to continuously improve delivery through understanding of key agile metrics.

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree, or relevant and equivalent work experience.

* At least (2) years of experience in Product Management with a proven record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced environment.

* At least 1 year of experience managing all aspects of a product feature throughout its lifecycle from concept to delivery.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

* Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

* Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:

* 2+ years of experience with the Duck Creek Policy Admin system including Author, Express, and Duck Creek API.

* Strong understanding and working knowledge of Commercial insurance experience.

* Agile certifications (i.e., SAFe, Scrum Alliance, Scrum.Org, ICAgile, PMI-ACP).

Annual Salary

$80,000.00 - $154,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate's work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
