The Manager - Provider Contracts - NMG works closely with the Director Provider Contracts - NMG to ensure provider employment agreement terms and physician compensation is accurate, timely, and in compliance with contracted expectations.As a Manager – Provider Contracts - NMG, you will have the opportunity to learn about a niche specialty area that is growing in the market place. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the team day-to-day. You will learn about the valuation of physician compensation and healthcare clinical financial operations. Specific tasks include financial modeling of physician compensation, documenting for compliance management purposes, partnering with our academics team to develop effective communication, collaboration and working relationships.This position will interact with all members of the contracts team as well as with other internal/external departments as related to compensation research or regular data sharing. This position performs a variety of project-oriented tasks to support the development and implementation of initiatives and compliance with Stark, Anti-Kickback and FMV regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial modeling of physician compensation for internal/external fair market reviews including benchmarking analysis to assist with preparation of new physician employment agreements, renewal of physician employment agreements, and professional services agreements. Which includes compilation of all supporting fair market review documentation for Legal/Compliance Department.
  • Ensures provider compensation models are effective, compliant with applicable state and federal laws and regulations, and aligned with Norton physician compensation policies and offer terms by performing annual compensation review and Fair Market Value analysis for all employed providers, including production trajectories, analysis of data and preparation of annual renewal notices.
  • Supports colleagues and direct reports regarding matters of provider compensation and contracts. Performs other physician analytic duties as assigned from time to time.
  • Develop internal policies/best practices guidelines and process documentation and as it relates to provider compensation, Stark and anti-kickback regulations.
  • Provides routine reports and support to operations, NCMG academic partners, internal physicians and other relevant stakeholders regarding compensation models, contracts, etc.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Three (3) years of experience in physician compensation, accounting, finance or healthcare administration. Strong financial management, analytical ability in data trending, analysis and reporting.
  • Bachelor Degree Accounting, Finance or Healthcare Administration or Related field

Desired:

  • One (1) year experience administering physician compensation programs including productivity bonuses. One (1) year experience Stark, Anti-Kickback Statute, FMV concepts and competitive market benchmarking.
  • Master Degree Accounting, Finance or Healthcare Administration or related field
