Description
- Direct the performance and employees of all Quality Assured functions
- Ensures compliance to all Customer Quality Standard Requirements
- Interfaces with Manufacturing and Support functions
- Represents the Plant with external customers in quality-related matters
- Notifies management of all information pertaining to product or process quality
- Assure compliance with OSHA, IATF 16949, CNCA-C11-09:2014 CCC Standards, ISO 14001, and Corporate Safety and Housekeeping requirements and policies as well as Plant Safety goals
- Responsible for driving Quality initiatives, PPM reduction, written concern reductions, RPN reduction, root cause problem solving, and layered process auditing
- Ensures Quality of all external suppliers
- Responsible for all launch related activities concerning PPAP, PSO, etc.
- Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Sciences, Business, Management, or equivalent experience required
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Quality Management, preferably in an automotive environment
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of OEM Quality Compliance Requirements
- Experience in utilization and implementation of ISO9000, QS-9000, IATF 16949, CCC Quality Standards
- Evidence of strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication, problem solving, planning, and leadership skills necessary
- Strong personal computer (PC) skills utilizing Windows software applications
- Must be able to work in a team oriented environment
