Overview:

The Manager, Run Club Programming & Activation will be a key player in leading and executing a frequent cadence of events across North America. This position will work closely across the brand team, product, and marketing channels to execute high-impact events at scale and interconnected with data, loyalty and lifecycle marketing consumer journeys. Role is focused on expanding the Champs Run Club program across new markets with increased frequency, with the goals of growing brand awareness, crafting meaningful connections with consumers, and driving sales results. The Brand Team is the heartbeat of Champs Sports, uniquely positioned to bring cross-functional departments together to develop and execute marketing programs. This role provides an opportunity to be at the center of brand development and build omni retail capability. We are looking for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in events and experiential marketing, exceptional communication and project management skills, and a passion for the athletically-inspired retail space. This position is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the St Petersburg, Florida office. Champs Sports conducts business across North America, with locations across the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. Champs Sports is a division of Foot Locker, Inc.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and activation of the Champs Run Club event program, expanding across markets at increased frequency and ensuring programs execute on-brand and on-budget.
  • Collaborate with agency partners and cross-functional teams, including Buying, In-Store, Dotcom, Social, Loyalty, Data and PR to ensure event impact is inter-connected across the marketing funnel.
  • Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, such as sales volume and customer perception, and provide insights and recommendations to exceed business expectations.
  • Utilize market research and consumer trends to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
  • Support the development and execution of comprehensive omni-brand strategy for Champs Sports, ensuring alignment with the company's overall vision and objectives.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university 2-3 years experience working in in events / experiential marketing with proven track record of success Strong project management skills to efficiently brief, manage and execute large events at scale. Experience with agency partnerships is preferred. Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey brand messages and engage with stakeholders at all levels. Strong understanding of corporate requirements related to data privacy and Legal as related to large-scale event compliance. Strong understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and competitive landscape to develop effective marketing plans. Possess a strong analytical mindset and be proficient in analyzing data to identify insights, measure campaign effectiveness, and make informed recommendations for continuous improvement. Understanding or passion for the culture of sport, especially the culture of running is preferred. Benefits:

The annual base salary range is $60,000 - $75,000 / year. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
