Location: *Hershey, PA This position can sit remotely. * Summary: * Key role in ensuring that a) all changes in our S/4 landscape are properly tested in line with testing and compliance standards, and b) all tests are executed and documented in line with our testing and compliance standards. This role will also ensure that the required regression test bed is properly maintained, enhanced, and automated to ensure that any S/4 changes can be properly regression tested prior to the deployment in our production landscape. * Major Responsibilities: * Plan and oversee the proper test execution by our Product Teams or our 3rd parties. Ensure all test activities are properly documented in line with our compliance standards. * Ensure all test activities are executed in line with our control and compliance standards so that no SOX or other compliance failure occurs. * Oversee and enforce our test execution advancements to drive test execution efficiencies through a high degree of automation. This includes the setup & proper maintenance of the necessary testbed (data, scripts, result comparisons, compliance activities). * Ensure that our test bed is accurate and actual – and that it is sufficient to support our testing needs (functional testing, regression testing, UVT testing). * Ensure the test environment is sufficient for our test execution within and beyond the S/4 landscape. Collaborate with the rest of the IS organization to enable proper end-to-end testing beyond system boundaries as needed (e.g., enterprise-wide refresh of test environments, execution of end-to-end tests). Assess defect leakage into production and identify improvement opportunities to prevent further production impacts. * Establish effective test metrics framework in close collaboration with Platform Leader to identify improvement opportunities and keep the leadership informed. * Qualifications:* * Test Management and Execution: Ability and Experience to oversee the test execution by our 3rd parties and Product teams to ensure all tests are executed in line with our testing standards and compliance requirements. Knowledge and experience in test automation to drive a high degree of automation in deep collaboration with our 3rd parties and our product teams. * Testing Standards: Ability to advance our testing standards to ensure compliance with audit and other policies. * Creating and management of testbed: Experience in establishing, enhancing, and maintaining of a testbed that can be leveraged in a highly automated fashion. Knowledge in experience in how to create synthetic test data from existing production data in a highly automated fashion. * Coaching/Influencing: Experience in coaching and influencing delivery teams on the importance and proper execution of the necessary test task prior to deploying any change into production. * Test Planning: Support our Product & 3rd Party teams during the PI Planning to ensure the required test plans including resource plans are in place. * Education and Experience Requirements:* * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering. o Advanced degree (MBA, Master in Computer Science or Engineering) a plus. Mix of business and STEM degrees preferred. * Minimum of 7+ years of experience in IT QA roles with increasing responsibility and where strict compliance standards needed to be fulfilled. o At least 3+ years in SAP QA role – preferably within S/4. * QA certifications highly preferred (ideally S/4).
