Job Summary (Primary function): As a member of the US Marketing / Product Strategy team, the candidate for this position will play a pivotal role in the development of the marketing media / conventions strategy and lead the development and execution of key personnel and non-personnel marketing initiatives focused on U.S. health care professionals for Jakafi (ruxolitinib) in the treatment of myelofibrosis and polycythemia vera. This candidate will work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders including Sales, Market Insights, Medical Affairs, the MLR team and external agency partners. Essential Functions of the Job (Key Responsibilities) Lead the development and implementation of oncology healthcare professional educational programs and materials across multiple media / marketing channels to achieve business objectives and sales targets Develop and execute personnel / non-personnel promotional programs and tactics, manage through the MLR process and ensure alignment and integration across channels Develop and maintain strong relationships with Sales, Sales Operations and other key functional areas including Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Legal Coordination with Commercial Analysis and Market Insights to incorporate program learnings and customer insights into future initiatives Work closely with key oncology stakeholders including physicians, nurses, hospitals, office staff, and professional societies. Develop and maintain a high degree of therapeutic area knowledge Budget preparation and maintenance Perform all company business in accordance with regulations and company policies and procedures Manage agency partners through the development and implementation of promotional programs and materials Qualifications (Minimal acceptable level of education, work experience, and competency): 3-5 years' work experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology product channel marketing Experience working with external brand agencies and vendors on a day-to-day basis and managing promotional budgets Ability to collaborate closely with agencies and other team members Specialty pharmaceutical/biotechnology experience preferred including experience in hematology, oncology, or inflammation Strong leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities Strong communication, presentation, analytic and strategic capabilities Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work performed by employees assigned to this job.
