Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required

* 2+ years logistics experience

* Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience with a beverage, food or liquid consumer products manufacturer

* 5 years of managing groups of teams to establish and achieve procurement objectives and vendor relations

* Previous supervisory experience, strong facilitation, organizational, and communication skills (oral and written), strong computer skills

* Positive Attitude with the ability to Multi-task

* Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic

General Overview:

The Shift Manager is responsible for production during his or her shift and is ultimately responsible for all decisions made and product produced in the department. The Shift Manager is responsible first and foremost for safety; the quality of products produced; internal customer service (smooth workflow between departments), fostering cooperation between departments and employees and ensuring continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

* Understands, endorses, teaches and enforces the Premium Waters mission, philosophy, policies and procedures.

* Promotes the organization, plans, programs and achievements to the public and employees at all times.

* Develops, gains approval of and implements plans, objectives and goals for his/her area of responsibility.

* Develops, gains approval of and implements budgets for his/her area of responsibility.

* Hires, orients, trains and develops personnel in his/her area of responsibility.

* Reviews and evaluates the performance of personnel on a timely basis and initiates pay changes.

* Supervises, directs and motivates the efforts of personnel in his/her area of responsibility.

* Identifies the need for disciplinary action, initiates appropriate discipline and follows through accordingly.

* Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.

* Direct and coordinate the activities of all employees on assigned shift. This would include production, warehouse, blow mold, maintenance, quality, and support employees.

* Read and analyze pertinent data, work orders, production schedules, and other records to achieve key performance indicators.

* Serves as communication liaison with other Managers to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments. Resolves all issues that arise.

* Work with other personnel to plan and establish work schedules, assignment, and production sequences to meet production goals.

* Facilitate training of all employees in safety, quality, customer service, teamwork, productivity, and work processes. Oversees this training for effectiveness and evaluates and coaches individual performance.

* Resolves worker problems, complaints, and grievances based on company policies and procedures and with management input.

* Prepare and deliver performance evaluations, wage reviews, counseling sessions, orientations, terminations, and disciplinary and accident investigations. Monitor employee adherence to company policy. Participates in employee staffing and scheduling decisions.

* Ensure accurate production and quality tracking and reporting.

* Coordinate facility and equipment repair and preventative maintenance.

* Participate in team projects and initiatives (examples include safety team, emergency response team, process improvement, etc).

* Works to help plant meet its financial goals and key performance objectives.

* Meets deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy and confidentiality in a fast-paced teamwork environment.

* Impact: (Tactical) Specify new products, processes, standards based on organization strategy or set short to mid-term operational plans.

* Communication: (Negotiate) Come to agreement by managing communications through discussions and compromise. Issues are short-term operational, mid-term tactical or limited strategic nature.

* Innovation: (Modify) Adapt or enhance quality or value in existing methods; make better as a part of day-to-day activities.

* Problem Solving: (Complexity) Problems and issues require broad-based solutions require consideration typically of two of three dimensions: Operational, Financial, and Human.

* Team Leader: Coaches team members (at least three) in skills; leads, Enforce safety and sanitation regulations.

GMP & PPE Required:

While on the production floor in the plant, you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
