Job Description:
**THIS POSITION IS ON SITE IN OUR REXBURG, ID OFFICE** StrongMind's Rexburg Student Education Success Center (SESC) Manager reports directly to StrongMind's Rexburg SESC Director. The SESC Manager works side-by-side with the SESC Director to ensure the success of the Success Center programs. This position will participate and implement planning, organizing, coordinating, and managing all programs, activities, budgets, and personnel of the Success Center. The SESC Manager participates and works alongside the SESC Director in the development, review, and implementation of StrongMind's policies and procedures for the Success Center and represents the Success Center to the community. Primary duties and responsibilities:
  • Ensures the highest level of efficiency and organization amongst all Success Center processes and procedures.
  • Assists with orientation, in-service training, coaching, and developing staff members to understand and execute expectations.
  • Is responsible for ensuring all student tutoring support, internal processes, and internal procedures of the Success Center's are being completed to company standards.
  • Is responsible for the documentation relating to student tutoring services and ensures tutors clearly documenting services rendered.
  • Ensures the success of the goals, objectives, and priorities assigned to the Success Center.
  • Collaborates with SESC Director and Executive Directors of supported schools/school districts.
  • Manages the staffing schedule and ensures tutors are available per the needed schedule outlined by the Executive Directors of the support schools/school districts.
  • Ensure the staff understands what it means to have a positive online presence when working with students as well as grows a strong dedication to customer services.
  • Establishes partnership with StrongMind's senior executives to determine the required staffing levels for the Success Center; monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedure; allocates resources accordingly.
  • Assesses and monitors workload, administrative and support systems, and internal reporting relationships; identifies opportunities for improvement; manages and implements changes.
  • Plans, organize, manages, and evaluate the activities, programs, and personnel of the Success Develop and evaluate comprehensive plans to satisfy present and future k-12 education andcommunityneeds.
  • Manages and participates in the development and administration of the assigned budget.
  • Participates and manages long-range educational planning goals; develops and implements procedures for development, evaluation and revision of StrongMind Center's educational programs and related services.
  • Supports a continuous program of research to improve the Success Center's programs to meet StrongMind and the community's needs.
  • Participates and makes recommendations on the hiring and dismissal of staff; assists in developing performance standards and is responsible for the evaluation of all academic and classified employees.
  • Promotes professional growth of employees in order to prepare them for advancement.
  • Represents StrongMind and the Success Center to the community, promoting positive relationships and providing open communication with all constituency groups; builds strong partnerships with universities, local schools, businesses, industry, and government. Develops, positive public relations for the Success Center at local and state levels by attending relevant meetings, serving on committees and other activities.
  • Attends and participates in professional conferences, workshops and local, state, regional and national activities on behalf of StrongMind and the Success Center.
  • May be assigned professional responsibilities beyond the scope of the Success Center.
  • Performs related duties as required.

  • Operations, services, and activities of a K-12 administrative responsibilities.
  • Communicate with school leaders and ensure Success Center staff are scheduled per school needs.

  • Principles of supervision, training, and performance evaluation
  • Plans and manages monthly incentives for staff and leads team-building events.
Education/Training:
  • Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in education or business.
  • At least two years prior experience managing in a center-type setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Products as well as experience using web conferencing services.
  • Demonstrated cultural competency, sensitivity to, and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of K-12 students and staff.
