Job Description Under direction of the Director of Materials Management (RDMM) the Supply Chain Operations Manager (SCOM) assumes responsibility for operations of the SJE Storeroom and Supply Support to clinical and non-clinical departments. The SCOM is technically competent to control daily operation of the Pathways Materials Management (PMM) system and interface with the RDMM to make monitor inventory levels, supply expense and optimize utilization of resources. Models a customer service attitude to department employees, while adhering to department standards at all times. Serves as an administrative, customer satisfaction and technical resource to departmental staff. The SCOM will create and manage work schedules for Distribution Technicians and ensure the hospital is fully stocked meet patient care requirements at all times. The SCOM will assume operational responsibility for all inventory cycle counts, annual physical inventories. They will work with the Regional Director of Materials to develop up-channel inventory reporting, communicate inventory shortages/overages to Buyer (s) and the Regional Purchasing. The Supply Chain Operations Manager will lead the Distribution Technician and Receiving Clerk positions to ensure quality support of clinical PAR levels, both stock and non-stock. Materials Management staff are authorized to access storage areas for the purpose of stocking supplies and equipment that may also be housed in the storage areas, as well as stocking intravenous fluids and irrigation solutions. - Experience in Hospital Materials Management.
- 5 years Experience in Healthcare or Hospital Materials Management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree Business or Supply Chain. Or Expert level knowledge of McKesson PMM and supply chain systems.
- Work experience in supply chain and warehousing.
- Supervisory/leadership experience.
