Purpose of Job
This is a developmental role intended to build a pool of individuals qualified to serve as General Managers within the organization. Under the supervision of a Regional Manager, the Manager Trainee will travel to Corporate-owned facilities to be trained by leaders in different business units. The Manager Trainee will learn, among other things, Interstate Batteries inventory management, budgeting, payroll, staffing and scheduling systems and practices.
Upon successful completion of this program, the Manager Trainee will be required to relocate (at Company expense) for assignment to any General Manager position available at that time.
