Our Assistant Managers are essential members of our Management Team. In the absence of the General Manager, they are the leaders in the store. They are responsible for Safety & Legal Compliance, Sales, Operational Excellence, Customer Service & Problem-Solving.
- Delivers quality customer service while maintaining a safe workplace, efficient and productive workflow,
- Manages staff in all store departments
- Leads and directs the work of others
- Accesses and utilizes the computer based time and attendance system on a daily basis in order to control labor costs and adjust scheduling as needed for customer service and traffic flows
- Follows operational standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete/ on-time service
- Follows policies in the areas of operations techniques, materials usage, shipping and receiving, capacity planning, scheduling, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations and performance measures
- Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate faster improvements and improved working relationships
- Performs other related duties as assigned
