The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing employees, processes and systems related to inventory, order building and loading of products for distribution.Essential FunctionsManages Supervisor of Warehouse employees. This includes hiring and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.Focuses on the productivity, process and quality of warehouse operations.Improves cost productivity, outbound shipment quality and process improvement.Leads and assists in daily operations, which could include but are not limited to developing training plans, performance feedback, project implementation, continuous process improvement, customer and supplier quality, and communication with internal business leadership and employees.Motivates, organizes, and encourages teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met.Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of the internal/external customer, while representing the Company in a professional and courteous manner.Communicates effectively with other departments regarding inventory and/or delivery issues.Maintains a clean and safe work environment.Supervisory ResponsibilityWarehouse Team LeadsWarehouse AdministratorsMaterial HandlersWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
