Are you a Wastewater Engineer seeking a dynamic leadership position? Our client, a nationally recognized, innovative Architecture, Engineering, Energy Efficiency and Construction Management firm, is seeking a Manager to oversee its Wastewater Engineering Department. In this role, you will:
- Serve as both technical lead and project manager for medium to large scale study, design and construction projects involving water and wastewater treatment, storage, pumping and distribution/collection systems
- Schedule project teams, coordinate team commitments and deadlines, facilitate technical training, and coach/teach/mentor technical professionals
- Diagnose, analyze and implement treatment process improvements
- Optimize treatment plan operating systems, including: pretreatment, filtration, chemical disinfection, residuals and energy systems
- Hydraulic modeling of treatment system processes and storage systems
Base salary is $140,000 - $155,000 Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Chemical or Environmental Engineering
- Active PE license in State of NY
- 7+ yrs experience in water/wastewater engineering
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (up to 15% travel required)
- Prior formal or informal leadership experience
