Job Summary

Manages and leads a region of Supervisors and Relationship Associates and their activities as it relates to executing the Wholesale Deposit Strategy. to Drive value add to the client experience while aligning with Synovus Bank culture. Oversees and ensures delivery of the client experience, adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements and operations supporting each of the Wholesale Bank business segments. Seeks out innovative and strategic initiatives to grow business. Builds high performing teams through development and training opportunities. Ensures Data Integrity delivered with quality and efficiency. Partners with Leadership to align to the bank's goals. Drives positive improvements in the client experience while aligning with Synovus Bank culture and strategic objectives. Manages Supervisors through effective coaching and recognition to achieve excellence in client service delivery while maximizing quality and overall efficiency and increasing team member development and engagement.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

* Manages a team of Wholesale Relationship Associates Team Leads and/or Relationship Service Supervisors. Ensure that the team provides a positive client experiences through consultative conversations and partner engagement.

* Leads Relationship Service Supervisors in the oversight and support of Wholesale Relationship Associate activities.

* Serves as an escalation point for addressing and resolving the most difficult and complex issues.

* Oversees data integrity of information for accurate management and reporting of client accounts.

* Leads the team through the alignment of current bank initiatives, strategies and communicates changes.

* Coordinates content and delivery of materials used in team development.

* Serves as the Wholesale team resource regarding applicable regulatory and compliance requirements, policies and procedures.

* Ensures adherence to regulatory compliance requirements in all aspects of client account servicing.

* Provides operational support to designated Wholesale business segments including evaluation of reporting for risks and opportunities, regulatory and compliance requirements, business continuity plans, and overall operational performance.

* Implements process efficiencies and or enhancements that could impact the client experience.

* Seeks out innovative and strategic initiatives to grow business.

* Ensures team members receive sales development opportunities and ensures bank partners support these efforts.

* Provides assistance and support and may participate in Wholesale Relationship Associate activities as needed.

* Engages with Bankers, Senior Management and other partners to effectively collaborate and leverage the Relationship Associate.

* Manages adherence to regulatory compliance requirements in all aspects of client account servicing.

* Leverages reporting for risks and opportunities, regulatory and compliance requirements, business continuity plans, and overall operational soundness within Wholesale Client Services

* Plans, evaluates, and documents team performance to ensure banking partners and clients are receiving the highest level of professional and courteous support.

* Communicates key information to the team regarding changes to policies, procedures, products and services. Provides coaching and training to team members regarding the introduction or referral of products and services to customers.

* Provides team direction through effective coaching and recognition to achieve excellence in client service delivery while maximizing quality and overall efficiency and increasing team member development and engagement.

* Models Synovus' culture and values in everyday interactions with team members, customers and business partners. Promotes a positive work culture by increasing and supporting team member engagement and develops strategies that reinforce Synovus' culture and values.

* Manages the annual performance management and merit processes for direct and indirect reports. Coaches and develops team members and builds a work environment where team members are engaged and feel a positive sense of achievement about their role in the company. Works closely with Human Resources regarding employee relations, compensation, training, posting and filling vacant positions and other Human Resources related matters.

* Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area. This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role. Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.

* Performs other related duties as required.
