Manager, Workout & Litigation Small Ticket
As Manager, Workout & Litigation (Small Ticket), you will be fully responsible for a team of Workout & Litigation Specialists managing distressed customers. The candidate will oversee members whose workload includes handling distressed accounts 60 days past due (and greater) and litigation and bankruptcy cases. The team must effectively liaise with collections, operations, asset sales, foreclosure, business units and external parties as well as ensure compliance with global C&R policies and guidelines. The candidate must be an inspired coach and mentor for their members while being responsible for meeting targets, deadlines and delivering a positive customer experience.

Day to Day
* Lead and manage a large team of Workout & Litigation Specialists and their assigned portfolio (OLM) in an efficient way and within corporate standards and policies including minimizing risk costs and Non-Performing Loans ('NPL') while maximizing recoveries and cure rates.
* Determine account strategy and appropriate escalation steps to include assignment to 3rd party agencies or outside counsel and assist the Director of Outsourcing in monitoring of the performance of vendors utilized.
* Direct activities related to workout cases, litigations and bankruptcies in a manner that ensures DLL's action and response is in accordance with all laws and internal DLL policies.
* Negotiate, settle, and remedy accounts in a manner that mitigates risk while maximizing recovery of loss.
* Manage the write-off process in accordance with DLL policy and procedure.
* Direct all after care activities related to DLL's recovery efforts.
* Liaises with Operations, Sales, Program Management, and the Risk organization regarding litigation efforts as well as risk management strategies.
* Identify process improvement opportunities, with a focus on streamlining and the elimination of unnecessary steps to maximize efficiency and improve results.
* Collaborate and participate in cross functional projects and initiatives as required.
* Ensure readiness of team members and support any change management efforts.

Essentials
* Minimum of Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
* 5+ years of relevant experience in the financial industry with people management and change management skills.
* Be an authentic leader who lives the values, inspires, and facilitates members to contribute to collective results in a matrixed organization.
* Strong understanding of Uniform Commercial Code, bankruptcy law, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, credit underwriting, restructuring activities, strategizing accounts effectively and consumer collection laws.
* Excellent negotiation, influencing and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to direct, train and motivate a large number of direct reports.
* Outstanding communication, business acumen, decision making and leadership skills.

Applicable Pay Range
$106,773.23- $133,466.53
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL's compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
