Promote from within culture
The Managing Director, Financial Markets & Funds Group cultivates long-term relationships with institutional asset management clients and outside professional COIs through the development of positive Bank recognition by attending and coordinating networking events, functions, and community events. In this role, you will anticipate and deliver on client needs through advanced product knowledge, technical expertise, and strong transaction execution skills.
What You'll Do
Maintain and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting client's business and personal needs
Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new institutional asset management relationships
Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products
Keep properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans
Sustain comprehensive understanding of current commercial products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices
Build and nurture a professional network of COI's and referral sources
Maintain a stable network of prospective customers with a consistent approach to calling
Mentor junior team members
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field
Minimum 10 years' experience lending to the institutional asset management industry
Knowledge of the financial markets and alternative investment industry is essential
Exhibits exemplary communication skills (both verbal and written) and executive presence
Successful track record of driving new business growth and developing well rounded client relationships
Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret the principles of accounting, credit, and finance
Comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations covering commercial banking activities
High ethical standards and personal integrity
