As of December 31, 2023, the team has invested more than $40bn in capital across more than 1,000 transactions over a 23+ year track record, on behalf of a broad slate of global clients. Restructuring & Portfolio Monitoring Activities:
  • Monitor and manage underperforming investment in the portfolio
  • Lead restructuring and/or work-out activities by designing and implementing restructuring and recovery strategies
  • Model recovery value optimization scenarios and provide recommendations to Investment Committee
  • Manage and negotiate with key internal / external stakeholders to achieve optimal outcome
  • Develop and manage relationships with key advisers and lenders in the industry
  • Effectively navigate and drive multi-party club lender situations. Remain front-footed and be a leading voice in group discussions (on deals/transactions and internally in IC)
  • Prepare updates for and contribute to quarterly portfolio reviews
  • Assist other team members in performing financial due diligence procedures as well as other initiatives related to the portfolio companies
Skills & Experience:
  • Excellent analytical and data analysis skills, highly numerate, responsive with high attention to detail
  • 10+ years of experience in investment banking and/or restructuring (leveraged finance, restructuring advisor and/or restructuring / work-out team within a bank or private debt / direct lending)
  • Deep understanding of the relevant documentation and how it can affect the design and implementation of restructuring and recovery strategies
  • Motivated team player and flexible in approach with ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - presents ideas in a clear, concise and constructive manner
  • Ability to prioritize, working to tight deadlines and flexible to meet workload
  • Keen to question, challenge and improve
  • A methodical thinker able to resolve complex issues on a daily basis
  • Strong academic background
For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $300,000 - $350,000. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including heath care, leave benefits, and retirement benefits.
