What You'll Do We're looking for a dynamic leader to join and lead our US Relationship Management team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in delivering unparalleled client experiences, fortifying and deepening relationships with our institutional client base. In conjunction with the Global Head of Client Experience you will drive client engagement, satisfaction and retention. Overseeing a team of Relationship Managers and Client Service Associates. You will be responsible the day-to-day oversight of our US Client Relationships and delivering exceptional levels of service. Lead and manage team of Relationship Managers and Client Service associates, ensuring delivery and oversight for team success and alignment to firm and team goals. Responsible for a book of Institutional clients, acting as the client's first port of call on developing and execute robust client account plans and retention strategies for our portfolio of clients, ensuring sustained client satisfaction and loyalty. Leading engagement initiatives with our existing client base, conducting comprehensive client portfolio reviews, due diligence exercises, and retention activities Oversee client team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of exceptional client service, orchestrating seamless collaboration across internal teams to deliver and execute on our client needs Collaborate closely with Distribution, Investment teams, and Consultant Relationships to develop enduring relationships, enhance client retention, and drive growth opportunities, with a primary focus on institutional clients Build and drive best practice for retention and continuously evaluating and refining strategies to adapt to changing client needs and industry landscape. Foster a profound comprehension of institutional clients and their diverse needs across various asset classes, including alternative investment products Cultivate an in-depth understanding of Principal Asset Management's investment strategies and client solutions, adeptly identifying opportunities to address evolving client needs Operating at the intersection of financial services and technology, Principal builds financial tools that help our customers live better lives. Who You Are Possess a minimum of 15 years of experience in managing institutional clients, demonstrating a track record of success in client retention and institutional relationship management and building strong, collaborative teams Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with consultant and sales teams, delivering exceptional client experiences while expanding engagement with existing clients Extensive experience across multiple asset classes, including but not limited to real estate, equities, and fixed income FINRA licensing, including the SIE or equivalent, series 7, 63 and 24 are required or ability to obtain Skills That Will Help You Stand Out CFA Goal-oriented with strong project management skills Adept at analyzing client situations holistically and implementing tailored solutions Proven ability to build strong, culturally aligned partnerships within dynamic organizations Experience leading as a player-coach, balancing team oversight with hands-on client management Travel is required. This could be around 50% depending on where you live and the clients' and business needs. Salary Range Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly) $174000 - $236000 / year Time Off Program Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don't accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided. Pension Eligible No Additional Information Location(s) We're open to considering in-office or hybrid talent. Preferred locations are Chicago and Des Moines. We will also consider talent in New York City or Seattle. Work Environments This role offers the ability for in-office or hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek) work arrangements. You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
