Position Overview: We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Managing Director of Investment Banking to lead our Special Purpose Acquisition Company (SPAC) practice. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in investment banking, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the financial markets as well as experience and relationships with relevant structures, including the IPO process along with the de-SPAC process. This role requires strategic vision, the ability to manage high-level client relationships, and the expertise to drive significant business growth. Ladenburg infrastructure includes sector research and extensive distribution capabilities. Salary: $175,000 - $220,000
Responsibilities: - Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth in revenue and market share.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry leaders.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, capital markets transactions, and other financial advisory services.
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of pitch books, financial models, and other transaction-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to best practices in financial services.
- Represent the firm at industry conferences, client meetings, and other networking events.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in investment banking, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in originating and executing complex transactions.
- Extensive knowledge of financial markets, investment banking products, and regulatory environment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships at the highest levels.
- FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 required.
