The bank is hiring a Managing Director (Public Finance) who will be responsible for achieving fee income goals as a relationship manager or as leader of teams working on transactions and advisory roles.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Develop working relationships with key Fifth Third affiliate personnel to achieve mutual goals.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory groups and agencies.
• Generate fee income by developing and providing investment banking services to key relationships.
• Work with the Manager to determine individual goals and objectives.

Supervisory Role

• Responsible for providing employees timely, candid, and constructive performance feedback; developing employees to their fullest potential and providing challenging opportunities that enhance employee career growth; developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning; and recognizing and rewarding employees for accomplishments.
