Job Description: Practice: At Vernon Hills Animal Hospital, although our focus is on dogs and cats, we are unique because we see many species of pets. You may see a baby sloth, an iguana, a rabbit, or a hedgehog in one of our exam rooms on any given day. Our services include general medicine and surgery (including laser surgery), wellness care and vaccinations, exotic animal medicine and surgery, geriatric medicine, dentistry, radiography (general and dental), therapeutic cold laser treatments, and laboratory services.Position Purpose: Vernon Hills Animal Hospital is looking for a Managing Veterinarian who is ready to take their career to the next level! We have been prominent members of the community since opening our doors in 1985 and are seeking another personable, enthusiastic and motivated doctor to step into a leadership role at our successful practice. Our team is experienced in surgery, dentistry, wellness care, and all things small animal! We have the equipment you'll need, but if we don't have a certain item that you really like, we're willing to get it! This is accomplished by building strong relationships with our clients, who are highly invested in their pet's health and will follow through with your recommendations; allowing you to practice your best medicine.
