Summary You will serve as the Command Military Personnel (MILPERS) Deputy Personnel Officer. You will serve as the staff action control officer for MILPERS policy and Officer/Enlisted personnel management. This position is located within the Marine Corps Intelligence Activity of HQ US MARINE CORPS in Quantico, Virginia. Responsibilities You will perform a wide range of duties to include management of administrative and clerical functions in the areas of general, personnel, operational, and manpower administration. You will place all incoming and outgoing correspondence under administrative control and ensure proper routing/staffing and suspense control. You will be responsible for independently providing guidance/advice to leadership and military personnel relative to the full scope of workforce management, workload, and resource related programs. You will function as the administrative authority on program policies, rules, regulations, processes, procedures, and approvals. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Utilize online systems (e.g., Defense Civilian Personnel Data System [DCPDS], Marine Online [MOL], or similar) for the purpose of submitting Request for Personnel Actions (RPAs), Permanent Change of Station (PCS) orders issuance, and PCS travel vouchers; Maintain liaison with personnel in assigned and related fields to provide recommendations on the utilization of manpower or material resources for an organization; Assist with the in-processing of newly joined employees to a command or organization and serve as a point of contact as required.
