About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mandarin Teacher to introduce young students (ages 3-5) to the foundations of the Mandarin language. This position involves creating engaging, age-appropriate lessons that foster language skills and cultural awareness in an interactive and fun environment. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, organized, and capable of adapting to the needs of our youngest learners. This is a Part Time position - 3 hours a day
Key Responsibilities
Teach Mandarin language fundamentals in a fun, age-appropriate way for preschool-aged children.
Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage early language acquisition and cultural exploration.
Provide a safe, welcoming environment where students feel comfortable learning and engaging.
Tailor lessons to meet each child's developmental level and support their language goals.
Collaborate with fellow staff to create an interdisciplinary learning experience.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in education, language instruction, or a related field
Experience teaching young children is preferred
Proficiency in Mandarin and effective language teaching methodologies
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to create an engaging and positive learning environment for preschool-aged students
