Our client in Thousand Oaks, CA is seeking a Manual Lathe/Mill Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have reliability, excellent work ethic and teamwork skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manual Lathe/Mill Operator

Location: Thousand Oaks, CA

Pay Range: Up to $35/hour

What's the Job?

Manual Lathe / Mill ( Machining part assemblies using Bridgeport Mill and Hardinge Super Precision Toolroom Lathe )2 openings on 1st or 2nd shift for a Conventional Lathe/ Mill machinist. Min 3 years' experience90% of what we are cutting is stainless steel ( 15-5, 17-4, 304 )Some super alloys ( Inconel 718, 750 )Some aluminum, nickel iron alloy and titanium as well.

What's Needed?

• Have good oral and written communication skill
• Have skills to read and interpret blueprints, engineering specifications and shop orders
• Have skills to determine setup, production methods, and sequence of operations
• Have the ability and flexibility to work additional hours and/or days as require
• A high school degree or equivalent is required, plus the ability to work with other people in teams
