About Us
We are seeking skilled individuals to join our team as Manual Machinists. In this role, you will be responsible for operating manual lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills, and milling machines to produce precision parts. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to set up and operate a variety of machine tools while demonstrating proficiency in fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical instruments.
Responsibilities:
- Operate manual lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills, and milling machines.
- Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts.
- Fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments.
- Fabricate and modify parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
- Apply knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
- Perform other duties/projects as designated by the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Experience in operating manual lathes, vertical and horizontal boring mills, and milling machines.
- Proficiency in setting up and operating various machine tools.
- Strong understanding of mechanics, shop mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
- Ability to fabricate, modify, or repair mechanical instruments.
- Capable of fabricating and modifying parts to make or repair machine tools or maintain industrial machines.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing operational, safety, and environmental factors.
- Willingness to work different shifts.
- Must pass drug and physical test.
