Role

As a Machinist (also known as Machine Operator, Manual Machinist), you will set up and operate a variety of manual machines to repair parts for industrial pumps, gearboxes, and mechanical seals. You will also be responsible for training to perform the disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and reassembly of industrial pumps and gearboxes. This role also includes acting as the shop specialist in line-boring on the horizontal mill.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 10+ years of experience operating manual machines (i.e. lathes, boring mills) required.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments such as: calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators, and scales.
