TITLE: Manual Machinist
DEPARTMENT: Engineering
REPORTS TO: General Manager
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and fabrication of tools/test equipment.
- Maintain workspace, facility, and equipment as delegated by GM.
- Other responsibilities as delegated by the GM.
ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:
- Design non-complex tooling using paper drawings if and when needed.
- Fabricate tooling/test equipment.
- Work with R&D personnel in complex tooling design when assistance is needed.
- Other task/duties as delegated by the GM.
Requirements:
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Read, Write, and speak English
- Basic Mathematics
- Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
- Ability to read measuring tool such as, Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators
- Ability to read and interpret technical data/drawings
- Ability to Engineer tools and test equipment using a sample part
- Tig Welding
- SolidWorks CAD software
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- 5 years manual machining experience required
- 1 year tig welding experience required
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Compensation details: 26-28 Hourly Wage
