- Compensation (Range): $38-40 / hour: Salary
- The Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) is a vehicle assembly plant-based cross-functional team having the primary responsibility to manage the actions to improve current model quality.
- The manufacturing PVT engineer also has responsibilities for evaluating the impact of engineering changes on Body Shop tooling and processes.
- Additional responsibilities include: launch support for large-scale new model programs, launch lead on small-scale new model programs, and production support for issue resolution.
- The VO PVT engineer is a single point of contact for Body Construction responsibilities.Job Requirements
- Strong verbal & written communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to operate in stressful situations within timing constraints.
- Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
- 1+ years of Manufacturing Engineering experience.
- Skills Preferred:
- Experience with tooling, processes, and facilities desired.
- Working knowledge of statistics (control charts, data collecting, Minitab, etc.).
