MUST HAVE ULTRA LUXURY, 6+ STAR HOSPITALITY EXPEREINCE- not looking for everyday hospitality experiencePosition Summary:The Hospitality Business Development Manager (HBDM) possesses first-hand knowledge of the luxury hospitality market including potential clients, suppliers and products and should be entrepreneurial and sales focused.The HBDM is expected to work closely with senior management to develop and execute business plans for hospitality sales growth utilizing experience and expertise on subjects including product sourcing, sales support needs and trade show participation.Proactive and aggressive business development is expected, including responsibility for a personal sales target while providing consultative support for sales reps engaged in hospitality projects in their markets.Responsibilities:Provide expertise on product needs and sourcing optionsProvide expertise on sales support needs including design and planning executionDevelop business plans with senior management to accomplish defined objectivesActive prospecting and solicitation of hospitality businessExecution of sales related activities including quotes, design requests, P&E requests, and
sample requests in designated software systems while attaining proper customer approvals and driving projects to timely completion and deliveryAchieving sales targetsActive participation in the selection, execution and attendance of relevant trade showsCommunicating all pertinent product and order information to clients in a professional mannerCommunicating all pertinent order and delivery information to Operations Team for order processingProvide sales and bookings forecasts to Management as requestedManage travel and entertainment expenses within the established budgetRequired Skills & Competencies10 years relevant sales experience with 5 Years minimum in hospitalityDirect experience working for or with the Interior Design and/or Architecture professionsDemonstrated success consistently meeting or exceeding sales targetsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailProfessional demeanor and strong work ethicDemonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships and work collaborativelyComputer literacy, including demonstrable ability with MS Office applications and/or Google Suite, plus sufficient acumen to learn designated ERPBachelors Degree or equivalent work experiencePhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computerMust be able to lift up to 10 pounds as neededTo apply for this position , please submit:your resume and three professional references and two personal references as outlined below.All experience, references and statements related to your application or candidacy are presumed to be truthful and accurate and are subject to validation.
