Schneider Electric is in search of a Manufacturing AI/ML Optimization Engineer who will focus on leveraging artificial intelligence and machine learning to enhance manufacturing processes and efficiencies. This role will play a crucial role in transforming manufacturing operations by implementing intelligent systems that can learn and adapt over time, leading to improved efficiency and productivity. Hybrid/Flexible work schedule What will you do in this role? •Design and Implement AI/ML Solutions: Develop and deploy machine learning models to optimize manufacturing processes, such as predictive maintenance, quality control, and supply chain optimization. •Data Analysis and Preprocessing: Clean, preprocess, and analyze large datasets to ensure high-quality input for machine learning models. •Model Training and Evaluation: Train machine learning models on historical and real-time data, fine-tune hyperparameters, and evaluate model performance using various metrics. •Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous learning systems that adapt and improve over time based on new data and feedback. •Collaboration: Work closely with manufacturing business leaders, process experts, and data engineers to identify optimization opportunities and align AI/ML solutions with business goals. •Technology Evaluation: Stay updated with emerging AI/ML technologies and evaluate their potential application in manufacturing environments. •Deployment and Monitoring: Integrate machine learning models into production systems and monitor their performance to ensure they operate efficiently in real-time environments. What qualifications will make you successful for this role? •BS Degree in Computer science, mathematics, engineering, supply chain or related field •Minimum 3 years of experience in a highly technical programming/engineering role •Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL •Experience with machine learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. •Strong understanding of data structures, data modeling, and statistical analysis. •Deep knowledge of algorithms, probability, and statistics. •Familiarity with tools like Hadoop, Spark, and SQL for handling large datasets. •Prior experience optimizing shop floor equipment, data monitoring and machine learning. •Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to tackle complex manufacturing challenges. •Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work effectively in a team.
