located in Wilsonville, OR. ESS has developed an extremely cost-effective energy management system that
combines an environmentally safe, abundant and non-toxic iron electrolyte with our patented flow cell design.
Our advanced flow battery technology combines high performance with low cost, renewable integration
designed for commercial, industrial, and utility applications.

ESS is looking for a motivated, hard-working Entry Level Manufacturing Assembler to join our team. This person
is responsible for constructing repeatable battery assemblies and components. This person may be asked to
perform other duties determined by the dynamic needs of a start-up environment.
The ideal candidate is someone who adaptable and understands the culture, the rigor and the challenges of a
start-up environment.
**Primary Responsibilities:**
* Repeatably construct, assemble, and quality test assemblies.
* Use hand or powered tools for the assembly of components.
* Ability to follow job required Standards and Safety Protocols, per pre-defined processes.
* Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions.
* Maintain clean working environment.
* And other duties as assigned.
**Proficiencies:**
* Ability to use basic hand tools including wrenches, hammer, tape measure, etc.
* Ability to perform basic math skills consistently without error.
* Familiar with data collection and entry by hand or on computer. MS Excel preferred.
* Ability to take and follow detailed notes.
* Good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with a small, dynamic team.

* Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
* Ability to follow job required Standards and Safety Protocols, per pre-defined processes.
* Must be able to wear Personal Protection Equipment according to OSHA rules and regulations.
* High School Diploma or GED
