summary Mechanical and Electrical Assemblers needed in the St. Charles area! Work for one of the leading coffee machine makers! Multiple shifts available! Performance to Hire opportunity!!! Work Monday through Friday - 1st shift - 6:30am to 3pm - 3rd shift - 10pm to 6:30am $16+ an hour based on shift and position Responsibilities Assemble machinery, fabricated metal products, electrical equipment, and more according to directions. Read blueprints, schematics, or similar documentation, then builds to those specifications. Use various machines and hand tools to accomplish assigned tasks. Maintain logs, records, and reports concerning production, machine maintenance, and product inconsistencies. Check products per company policy to ensure quality and uniform completion; resolve any identified problems and alerts line supervisor. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies. This role will work Monday - Friday from 6:30am - 3:00pm Hand-assemble components into printed circuit boards Load electronic boards onto wave solder machine. Hand-solder components on boards. Perform various board, bracket and label assemblies. Mask and unmask parts for conformal coating. Test circuit board assemblies. Program microcontrollers. Requirements General knowledge of production. Experience with small hand tools. Excellent hand eye coordination. Ability to differentiate between colored wires, tabs and electronic components. Ability to problem solve. Attention to detail. required-skills: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT Prolonged periods of standing (up to 8 hours) and performing repetitive tasks. Must have manual dexterity in order to assemble products as directed. Lifting up to 25lbs. Ability to reach overhead, stand, stoop, and squat as needed.
