Title: Manufacturing Assembler/Coordinator
Location: Madisonville, Missouri
Salary: Full time employment position with an hourly pay range of $17.00-$21.00 per hour.
Summary:
Assembles small products or components with limited details as part of routine and highly repetitive assembly tasks. Generally works at a workstation or on a conveyor line. Typical duties include inspecting, sorting, packaging, labeling, gluing, cutting, tying, or trimming, either manually or using machines. Carries out basic equipment adjustments, routine upkeep, and cleaning. May also perform various tasks such as relocating assemblies or equipment and cleaning the work area. Usually requires 0-2 years of experience and operates under direct supervision.
Responsibilities
- Operate machinery to support the production process.
- Assemble materials and tools as necessary.
- Examine finished products for flaws to ensure quality standards are upheld.
- Assist in loading raw materials onto the production lines.
- Transport raw materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members to promote efficient production and meet deadlines.
- Perform inspections and quality control checks on products.
- Assist in lifting, carrying, and moving heavy items as needed.
- Conduct tasks such as checking, sorting, packaging, labeling, pasting, cutting, tying, or trimming, either manually or with machines.
- Execute basic equipment adjustments, routine maintenance, and cleaning.
- Achieve production goals and report any concerns to the supervisor.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Knowledge of production tools and equipment.
- Self-driven and diligent.
- Capable of working efficiently with little oversight.
- Willingness to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as necessary.
- Ability to endure high temperatures in the production area.
- Physically able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand 80%+ of an 8-hour work day.
- Mechanical skill and experience with machinery.
- Strong focus on detail and ability to recognize production discrepancies.
- Physical endurance to manage repetitive tasks and remain standing for extended periods.
- Basic arithmetic skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
- Team-oriented skills for effective collaboration with colleagues and supervisors.
