Pay Rate: 33.30-45.79 $/Hour At-a-Glance: Are you ready to build your career by joining an international automotive company? If so, our client is hiring a Manufacturing Assembly Engineer!Required: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Associates degree in Engineering and the equivalent of 2 years related engineering experience or the equivalent of 4 years related engineering experience. 1 years of experience in an engineering environment or participation in 6 months of an engineering internship, co-op (automotive process or automotive manufacturing engineering preferred). MVR required. Applications, systems (PCSQ, DZA, SAP, TAIS, IPA). Ability to use and apply statistical methods to aid with process analysis (risk filters, FMEAs, SPC, & process, machine capability). Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Knowledge of Assembly department goals and objectives. Problem investigation & data analysis experience. Long and short-term project management experience (structure projects, continuous improvement, process analysis, new model). Experience in assembly and functionality of vehicle systems (electrical, mechanical, modular, & diagnostic preferred). Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications. Responsibilities: Plans and coordinates assembly processes, tolls, fixtures, and equipment for designated area of responsibility within assembly. Leads special projects as assigned including equipment, structure modifications within areas of responsibility. Duties Include: Plans, designs, and leads engineering changes and deviations for assembly. Develops, evaluates, and improves assembly processes and process methods utilizing knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication process, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods and quality control standard and maintains assembly process sheets. Analyzes and plans space requirements & workflow and designs layout of equipment and workspace for maximum efficiency. Coordinates with finance, procurement, design staff and vendors concerning product design, process tools, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods and to arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts. Evaluates product according to specifications and quality standards. Estimates production times, staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions. Coordinates with management, engineering and other staff regarding assembly capabilities, production schedules and other considerations to facilitate production processes. Utilizes statistical methods to estimate future assembly requirements and potential. Leads any special projects and self-initiated projects for continuous improvement, structural planning and other series and new model related planning projects. Provides specialized technical guidance, training, process improvement activities and support to assigned process area and production associates. Prepares analysis on process and quality issues not solvable by production areas. Position Type: ContractGet in Touch: We want to hear from you!
