Welcome to Bosch.Job Description* Perform investigations, trials, and improvements in manufacturing processes.* Set up machines and devices to prepare investigations as indicated.* Create and maintain manufacturing documentation and quality plans according to company standards (including process flow diagrams, control plans, PFMEA, PQIs, process control documentation, standard work instructions, etc).* Identifies and resolves quality issues related to automated assembly technology.* Mentors hourly skilled associates in proactive maintenance of assigned processes, including development of qualification cards and other training material.* Support and perform PPAP activities related to assigned processes.* Identify and lead projects to improve safety, cost, quality, delivery, and utilization of manufacturing processes in order to meet Policy Deployment objectives.* Actively participate in daily management of area using MES and other analytics/data to meet targets and derive measures to continuously improve performance.Qualifications* BS in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) and 3+ years technical experience.* Hands-on experience with highly automated equipment technologies- such as press/torque, robots, automated axis systems, vision systems, and feeding systems.* Mechanical tool and hardware design/upgrade experience.* Programming experience desirable (PLC programming, C#, Python, HTML/Javascript)* Experience with data analytics tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc)* Experience in high volume/technology manufacturing processes within the automotive industry preferred.* Ability to read and define electric drawings, pneumatic and/or hydraulic plans.* Experience with lean manufacturing systems and concepts (BPS).* Project leadership skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet established targets.* Ability to work on cross-functional teams with a high degree of self initiative.* Experience utilizing problem solving techniques to solve complex manufacturing issues (Six Sigma, Shainin, 5 whys).* Ability to travel (including internationally) for training, projects, and IPN activities.Additional InformationIn addition to your base salary, Bosch offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision plans; health savings accounts (HSA); flexible spending accounts; 401(K) retirement plan with an employer match; wellness programs; life insurance; short and long term disability insurance; paid time off; parental leave, adoption assistance; and reimbursement of education expenses.
