Bring passion and dedication to your job and there's no telling what you could accomplish!DescriptionIn this role, you will work on the development of advanced CNC automation systems, upgrade personal background of technical details/problem solving skills, and contribute to the optimization of manufacturing processes for precision machining:Develop advanced compensation programs by using machine learning algorithms to enhance CNC machine tool accuracy and efficiency.Design and optimize CNC tooling and fixtures to resolve machining process issues and to independently design solutions that improve machining quality and cycle time.Collaborate on CNC process development, working closely with engineering teams to help solution down-selection and machining applications.Support machine learning integration within the CNC environment, including automated adjustments of machining parameters based on real-time data.Engage in continuous improvement projects, addressing ongoing CNC machine tool compensation and OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) enhancement.Coordinate activities within cross-functional teams, including liaising with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure clear communication and successful project execution.Minimum QualificationsBS or MS in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering / Automation / Computer Science.Ability to communicate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.A teammate who is self-motivated, results-oriented, and detail-oriented.Ability and willingness to work independently and occasional travel within China.Understanding of basic concepts in mechanical engineering in fixture design and assembly-related processes.Understanding of basic concepts in industrial engineering in factory lean, CT, OEE.Understanding of basic concepts of DOE design and data analysis.Good written and oral communication skills, fluent in English.Preferred QualificationsHands-on experience in mechanical-related manufacturing processes (Machining, Polishing, Material, Computer Science).Relevant manufacturing working experience.Hands-on experience in coding (Python, C++, Matlab, etc.), Xcode for iOS App development is a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
