Pay rate $33.47 - $42.69 per hourDescription:1. Operate electrical test equipment including voltmeter, megger, and amprobe2. Install, perform preventive maintenance, and troubleshoot motor control and lighting systems using wiring schematics3. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair motors4. Troubleshoot advanced control system and instrumentation equipment including PLC controls using wiring schematics5. Use infrared camera to perform preventive maintenance and troubleshoot6. Install and configure VFD power and control wire7. Understand and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and network maps for troubleshooting and installation8. Able to work on electrical systems including 5VDC, 12VDC up to and including 480 VAC9. Size and wire transformers10. Install various electrical controls11. Interpret electrical schematics and symbols12. Know and understand NEC codes, become trained in NFPA-70E, and practice all other electrician duties in a manufacturing environment13. Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations14. Understand manufacturing principals such as Lean, Lean Six Sigma, and CMMS fundamentalsQualifications:1. Must be capable of working in a manufacturing setting in a safe manner and follow all safety rules and practices2. Must have the desired technical skills to work as a maintenance mechanic or electrician3. Maintain a high standard for housekeeping within the work area4. Follow instructions on printed work or customer orders to complete assigned tasks5. Basic computer skills preferred to complete safety training and review work-related email6. Ability to learn to operate required equipment, including mobile equipment (forklifts, etc.)7. Familiar with common hand tools and how to properly use them8. Good communication skills needed to work with coworkers and customers9. Demonstrates the ability to cooperate with co-workers in areas of safety, quality, and understands importance of completing assigned tasks and their relationship to other requirements.
