Reports To: Manufacturing Engineering ManagerDescription:Performs engineering and technical assignments in support of process development, mass production, design change and service requirements of projects.Responsibilities:•Management of the project to include mass production, design change, and service.•Support problem solving activities to determine root cause and countermeasures.•Implement process improvements in areas of safety, quality, cost, and productivity.•Perform design of experiments in process development and improvements.•Develop and maintain APQP documentation for the process.•Develop and maintain process control conditions, equipment start up / shut down, total productive maintenance, and related control documents.•Development and editing of PLC and HMI applications.•Development and editing of Robotic Programming.•Development and editing of Vision Systems.•Implement Poka Yoke systems and develop monitoring and control of these systems with production and quality.•Manage design changes using the Octane system.•Must work in a safe manner in compliance with KASAI NA policies and maintain an awareness of danger to themselves and others.•Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies and Procedures.Qualifications:Education Required:•BS Degree in related engineering discipline. AS Degree in Mechatronics. Equivalent work experienceTraining Required:•Octane•INFOR•Other training as requiredSkills Required:•Microsoft Office Experience (Excel, Word, Project)•SolidWorks and AutoCAD•DOE/Problem SolvingExperience Required:•Five plus years in Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline, and/ or BS Degree in related engineering discipline, and/ or AS Degree in Mechatronics.This job description should not be construed to imply that these requirements are exclusive standards of the position.
