DescriptionFor this role, we are open to consider applicants that currently reside in the NYC, NY Metroplex or the Columbus, OH Metroplex.Your RoleVS&Co's Beauty team is seeking a highly skilled Engineer with a strong proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel Macros to enhance quality investigation processes and the overall quality management system. As a technical engineer in a fast-paced beauty and fashion organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of product quality through end-to-end manufacturing activities as well as balancing frequent vendor-based quality investigations, lab testing and statistical data analysis to optimize products and determine root cause corrective actions.Why You Belong HereAt Victoria's Secret & Co, we acknowledge your value. We lead with integrity, trust, and respect to achieve the best outcomes as one team.Your ImpactProgram Execution* Quality Control / Manufacturing Issue Management (40%)* Prioritize disposition of internal and external investigations* Evaluate and analyze test data gathered or received by supplier for compliance.* Facilitate data collection and analysis to support open investigations and root cause analysis* Facilitate inspections on components and finished goods* Evaluate data for trends leading to Corrective Actions.* Issue quality notifications and follow up for corrective actionsQA / Vendor capabilities Program Execution (30%)* Lead in new project risk assessment (product, design, package, etc.) to evaluate risks and initiate contingency plans.* Collaborate / Lead scale-up production and implementation of new and reformulated products.* Evaluate line trial samples and manufacturing data and provide feedback to cross functional partners* Create design of experiments to support open investigations* Partner cross functionally to understand QA needs and form alignment with the business goals.* Monitor and manage post launch quality performance.* Provide technical and investigative support to vendors and cross-functional partners.* Investigate process or product deviations and implement corrective actions* Manage time to focus on investigations and process improvement projectsVendor Performance (30%)* Lead technical root cause analysis to vendors and cross-functional partners.* Provide technical support to worldwide contract manufacturing operations.* Communicate Quality Assurance/Manufacturing policies and procedures to vendors and internal cross-functional partners.* Analyze and Evaluate vendor compliance to Quality Assurance requirements.* Support vendors as needed for pre-production and production issues.* Monitor vendor's performance and troubleshoot issues to drive continuous improvement.* Attend first and ongoing production runs at vendors and perform in-line process inspections.Talent Management and Development* Create individual development plan and personal performance objectives* Assist in Onboarding new associatesClick here for benefit details related to this position.Minimum Salary: $73,000.00Maximum Salary: $98,280.00VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.Qualifications* 2 - 5 years engineering experience with product quality and manufacturing focus.* Proven experience as a Quality Engineer; preferred CPG and/or beauty manufacturing experience* Proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, Power BI, and Excel Macros.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to drive data-driven decision-making.* Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams.* Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.* Experience in project planning, project management, quality control processes, statistical techniques and GMP.* Comfortable performing multifaceted projects along with day-to-day activities* Ability to travel (20 to 40%) domestically and internationally.For this role, we are open to consider applicants that currently reside in the NYC, NY Metroplex or the Columbus, OH Metroplex.We will consider for employment all qualified applicants, including those with arrest records, conviction records, or other criminal histories, in a manner consistent with the requirements of any applicable state and local laws.
