Summary
Looking for a self-starting manufacturing engineer to establish and implement processes for the assembly of aircraft electrical components including Generator Control Units (GCUs), Transformer Rectifier Units (TRUs), and other electrical power conversion units. The selected candidate works as part of the engineering and operations team to support production by upkeep and writing of work instructions, implementation of new processes, continuous improvement, and troubleshooting of recurring defects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Writing and upkeep of manufacturing work instructions, routers, and associated paperwork.
* Perform design reviews within the engineering team for manufacturability
* Support continuous improvement activity
* Assists in troubleshooting and potential design improvements
